How to manage your stress.
Slow down and look over your life. Are you taking on more than you can bear? Are there some things that you can delegate to others to help ease the burden on you and the stress you are feeling? Once you look at the demands on your time, take a good look at your attitude.
Do you feel like you’re the only one that can do all these tasks, or are you afraid to let someone else do them because they may do it
wrong? Is it possible for you to change your attitude so you can allow others to help out? Let it go and let others help you, this is a great stress management technique – delegation is a good thing! Find and utilize the skills of people you trust.
Do you have people in your life that are always negative and make you feel bad about yourself? What a stress! If so try to get away from them or at least spend less time with them if you can’t get them completely out of your life. You will be surprised how much less stress you feel when you move away and don’t have to deal with these stressful people or situations anymore!
Take a deep breath and say I am letting all negativity go from my life. I will relax and enjoy my life and not take on more than I can handle. I will not let other peoples negative comments enter my mind. Repeat this several times and whenever you face these people or problems, take a deep breath and repeat them again.
In order to feel less stressed you must take up new stress management strategies. Obviously what you’re doing isn’t working! It’s one thing to want stress out of your life but it wont just happen.
