Affirmations
In my opinion affirmations are one of the most powerful yet often overlooked tools we have in our toolkit. Simple and easy to devise, we tend to overlook affirmations and get swept up in life’s daily negativity.
In the past I would write out some affirmations I thought I believed in, read them for a few days and wonder why they wouldnt work! I guess I’m a slower learner really, but I finally figured out the importance of really thinking your affirmations through and practising my affirmations every day. I try to ensure that the very moment I awake I begin my affirmations and try to do the same before I close my eyes at night.

Christmas Affirmations
So it is Christmas and what have you done….so the song goes. Almost that time of year again, Christmas is a time of great joy for many people and families around the world, a time to give and receive, and to give thanks for life’s abundant blessings.
For some however, Christmas can be a time of incredibe stress. Lack of money, struggling to make ends meet, the end of a romance, a recent death in the family, all such incidences can make Christmas a time of enormous pain and suffering for some. For everyone who is sad or lonelythis Christmas, here are some special Holiday affirmations:
- I look forward to Christmas with joy in my heart
- I thank you for every day I am given, for it is a gift, not a given
- I know my Christmas will be filled with an abundance of food
- I open my heart and my home this season to allow love to flow in and out
- I look forward to sharing what I have with others
