Very much a hot topic these past few years, what with the explosion around the world of “The Secret“, the Law of Attraction is so often talked about.  Having read “The Secret” sometime ago now I remember thinking how simple and straightforward it was that surely everyone already does it.  Not so apparantly…

I have read the book many many times over the years however recently I ran into my local bookstore to pick up a new meditation cd.  We had recently moved and to be honest I have no idea where my trusted old meditation CD is!  So I had been putting off buying a new CD for many months.  Anyway as I grabbed what I thought was the best CD they had (I will tell you about it later) I grabbed a CD pack next to it on the shelf and took it home.  Titled “The Law of Attraction” by Esther and Jerry Hicks, I really hadnt heard of it and knew nothing about the pack, only that it interested me and I wanted to hear what they had to say.

Nothing and I mean nothing could have prepared me for CD one.  They say you have to be ready to hear something right?  Well, that is so true, I put the cd into my laptop, sat back, and so began this CD that I couldnt understand, they may well have been speaking a foreign language for I had no clue what they were talking about.  Disgusted I put the CD away and the next day decided to try again.

Now dont ask me why or what changed for I have no idea but this time I understood every word!  Somehow it seemed to me like a lightbulb had been switched on and it made perfect logical sense to me.

I suppose if I were to share with you the ONE thing I learned from Estehr and Jerry Hicks and the Law of Attraction – that would be that the Law of Attraction doesnt start in your head.  By that I mean it doesnt come from a position of thinking about something, it eminates from feeling about something.

Now that may not mean much to you, but to me this was amazing.  All this time spent thinking through what I wanted and putting it out to the universe!  All this time wasted really. What you attract in your life comes from an emotional place within you.  It comes from feeling that you already have what it is you want in your life.

It’s taken sometime for me to get here but I have finally arrived….I finally get it.  I hope you will too.
